Samuel Apau Boakye-Yiadom

Boakye-Yiadom Apau Samuel , the Chief Financial Officer  joined People’s Pension Trust Ghana in January 2021. Before People’s Pension Trust Ghana, he was the Chief Finance Manager as well as the Chairman for the Executive Management Committee of Gold Coast Fruits Ltd., a free zone company engaged in fruits production and export for more than 3 years.

Boakye-Yiadom was also the Financial Controller and Shared Service Leader of the Real Estate Entities of CH Group (made up of Goldkey Properties Ltd, Blackwell Reality Ltd, Denton Property Management Ltd and Redwood Development Ltd) from November 2014 to January 2017.  

Between July 2010 and October 2014, he was the country Finance Manager of the two subsidiaries of PanafricanGroup Ghana made up of Panafrican Equipment Ghana Ltd and Panafrican Mining Services Ghana Ltd.

His wealth of knowledge and experience also extends into the Telecommunication and Internet Service industry where he worked for 9 years and held various managerial positions in Africa Online Ghana Ltd from Chief Accountant to Country Manager in the Ghana and Cote Ivoire offices, and later as the Group Business Planning Analyst at its African Corporate Head office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Samuel Boakye-Yiadom obtained his Accountancy and Audit training from Coopers and Lybrand and later with PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

He is an expert in audit assurance, corporate accounting and reporting, advisory and tax administration across several industries or sectors.His insightfulness covers Corporate Budgeting and Forecasting, Assurance & Reviews, Finalization of Statutory Accounts in a group environments, Strategic Business Reporting and Compliance, IFRS, and Corporate Tax planning.
Boakye-Yiadom is a Chartered Accountant and in addition, he holds an MBA in Finance and a BSc Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana Business School.
